A motion requesting that the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, initiate the process to allow permit parking for the residents of Court and Elm Streets.

A motion requesting that the Newark Parking Authority provide the Municipal Council with a copy of its budget for the years 2013 and 2014 including a detailed listing of the salaries and vacancies for each budget year.

A motion requesting that the Administration provide the Governing Body with a breakdown of the two million dollar professional service contract for temporary staffing/professional personnel services awarded to Axion Worldwide Solutions, LLC and Delta-T-Groups North Jersey, Inc., via Resolution 7R2-a, May 5, 2014: breakdown shall identify: 1) administrative costs, 2) source of contract dollars, a) grant funds, b) City funds; 3) contract cost allocated for i) salaries and wages ii) other expenses.

A motion requesting that the Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, review prior submission for Municipal council consideration the list of streets scheduled for repaving to ensure that the streets correspond to the correct ward; further, to ensure that the streets correspond to the correct ward; further, to ensure that the Governing Body’s recommendation of streets for repaving are incorporated into the repaving schedule.

A motion requesting that Mayor Luis A. Quintana refrain from submitting to the Municipal Council recommendations to fill vacancies on City Boards and Commissions in order to grant the next Mayor and Administration beginning July 1, 2014, the courtesy of selecting and nominating candidates which the next Administration may find worthy of consideration to serve on said Boards and Commissions.
