Executive Order: R-21-0007 Department: Public Works Position: See Below Effective: 1/19/21 Salary Range: See Below All terms and conditions set forth in an ordinance entitles “An ordinance creating positions in the Department of Public Works and establishing salaries therefore”, (6S&FN) adopted May 4, 1977 and amendments thereto, and all terms and conditions which relate to the foregoing titles which are inconsistent herewith shall no longer be in effect. 1. * Effective January 1, 2019, the base salary of all employees shall be increased by one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Eligible Employees are defined as those active employees who are on the payroll at the time that the disbursement is due. 2. ** Effective January 1, 2020, the 2020 base salary of all employees shall be increased by one thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($1,250.00). Eligible employees defined as those active employees who are on the payroll at the time that the disbursement is due. 3. The 1/1/2019 salary increase of $1,000.oo will be deferred for implementation in January 2021, when it shall be implemented with retro pay in a lump sum in a separate check, due January 15, 2021. 4. The 1/1/2020 salary increase of $1,250.00 will be deferred for implementation in July 2021, when it shall be implemented with retro pay in a lump sum in a separate check, due January 15, subject to availability of funds, but no later than July 31, 2021. If there is a failure to implement on this schedule, the Union can file for expedited arbitration before Gerard Restaino to be held within thirty (30) days of July 31, 2021. The Arbitrator can award interest.

SALARY PROGRESSION THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2017 Retroactive to January 1, 2018, each employee serving in a position title covered by the bargaining unit shall have his/her annual salary increased in accordance with the annual salaries delineated above. Instead of advancing to the next salary step within the salary range each January 1, the increase shall be reflected in each employee’s current step. For example, an employee on step 6 of his/her salary range as of December 31, 2016 will remain on said step in 2017. However, for 2018, step 6 will reflect the appropriate percentage increase.
