A motion requesting that the Police Director provide to the Governing Body, through the City Clerk’s Office, the following information relating to the 167 newly recruited police officers laid off in 2012: 1) the total cost incurred for their training in the Academy; 2) payroll expenditures from their hire date to the date of their separation and 3) where possible, their current employment status.
