A motion requesting that the Administration provide the Municipal Council with the status of elevator licenses and inspections of all commercial and residential properties throughout the City of Newark that have an elevator system; further, requesting that the Director of Engineering and the Manager of the division of Tax Abatements and Special Taxes be available at a future special conference to respond to the Governing Body’s concerns regarding elevator safety inspections and elevator license revenue.
