A motion requesting that the Municipal Council Legislative Officers research and draft an ordinance that would require landlords in the City of Newark to pay attorney’s fees for successful tenants if lease reserves the landlord the same right as is currently being proposed by Senator Brian P. Stack via Senate Bill No. 2018.
