A motion requesting that Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr., 10th Congressional District and Congressman Albio Sires, 8th Congressional District, initiate a Federal fact finding investigation into the State of New Jersey’s authority to take administrative control of a local school district for a five (5) year period in order to improve school performance, and subsequently, maintain control after the five (5) year period of State oversight did not result in marked improvement or cost savings to the local school authority.
