A motion recognizing and commending Newark Police Director Sheilah A. Coley and Chief of Police appointee Ivonne Roman, on their recent and historic appointments to the top leadership positions in the Newark Police Department, becoming the first women of color to hold those positions in the 350 year history of the City.
