A motion requesting that the Administration, Department of Law, provide the Municipal Council with a legal opinion of the validity of the requirement under the ordinance that regulates licensing for certain activities that stipulates that an applicant shall present proof that he or she is a citizen of the United States or a person satisfying all requirements of immigration and naturalization laws, or other applicable laws for holding gainful employment in the United States.
