NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend Rick Earle for his extraordinary career, unwavering dedication to investigative journalism, and lasting service to the residents of Western Pennsylvania; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Monday, December 22, 2025 to be “Rick Earle Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
