A motion requesting that the City’s Congressional and State Delegations assist the City of Newark in its efforts to have New Jersey Department of Transpiration (NJDOT), increase its cleaning and maintenance program for McCarter Highway (Route 21), I-78 and 280, in addition to providing greater lighting for the underpasses traversing McCarter Highway; furthermore, requesting that strong consideration be given to the upgrading and renovation of Newark Penn Station.
