Council Members Ramos and Gonzalez made requests regarding Administration’s Tax Appeals and Reappraisal processes. Councilman Gonzalez requested Administration prove the Governing body copies of actual documents used in the tax appeal applications. Councilman Ramos requested a report of the number of residential households that were subject to “random” property tax re-appraisals in 2022 and received increases of $5,000.00 or more.
