RE: Proposed early warning system for city parks Council Member Carlos M. Gonzalez requested that the Administration and the Department of Recreation, Cultural Affairs and Senior Services strongly consider the installation of Early Warning System (EAS) in the city’s public parks to alert park goers of a weather-related emergency such as lightning storms.
