A motion requesting the Department of Engineering, Division of Inspections and Enforcement and the Department of Public Safety, provide the Governing Body with a report on the number of towing companies cited since passage of the City’s new ordinance restricting illegal booting of vehicles by unregistered tow companies on private parking lots and charging motorists exorbitant fees for the vehicle release.
