Council Member Luis A. Quintana requested that the Administration provide written clarification absolving the City of additional costs associated with the donation of the twenty-four (24) passenger bus to Spilinga, Italy. Councilman Quintana has concerns that a process for any donation to foreign entities should be authorized and cleared through the U.S. State Department to absolve the City of any liabilities, while also allowing the City to receive credits for future grant opportunities.
