Silva strongly recommended the Administration establish a multi-department task force providing daily code inspections in each ward, on a rotating basis. The Governing Body is of the opinion that unless the city seriously address and enforce violations, such as illegal conversions, weekend construction projects, chronic garbage and debris buildup, illegal dumping and other quality of life violations, residents and non-residents will continue to dismiss and ignore current laws and ordinances.
