To authorize and direct the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods to accept a grant from Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services in the amount of $100,000.00 to help coordinate efforts for the My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) program; to authorize the appropriation of $100,000.00 within the General Governments Grant Fund; to authorize the Director to enter into grant agreements for an expenditure of up to $75,000.00 ($25,000.00 per grantee) with the following 2021 MBK grant recipients: the Columbus Urban League, Community Refugee and Immigration Services, and African American Male Wellness Walk; and to declare an emergency.
