NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh commends Maria Cohen for seven years of dedicated service to Squirrel Hill and recognizes her lasting contributions to the neighborhood and its residents; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, September 15, 2026, to be “MARIA COHEN DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh.
